Photos – Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks NYC 2015

The Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks was again on the East Side this year. Even though I shot from the same Brooklyn vantage point this year, it was a different experience. Macy had changed the show. Instead of replicating the same program from each of the barges, Macy’s had the larger blasts in the center with smaller blasts closer to the shore. Different effect, different experience.

All photos were taken with my Canon 7D Mark II & Canon 17-55mm EF-S lens using my previously posted tips on how to photograph fireworks. I did find that f/11 worked very well. Take a look.
