Christmas in New York City 2010. This HD-Video was shot with the Canon 7D using new Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM lens. Scenes shot all over New York City including — Christmas Trees at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Rockefeller Center, UNICEF Snowflake at 57th St., Skating at Bryant Park, Decorations at FAO Schwarz, Times Square, Macy’s, Saks 5th Ave, Barneys, Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor and Bergdorfs and more.
By the way, I am very impressed with the new Sigma 17-50mm F/2.8 EX DC OS HSM. I have used this lens for the past month for a variety of still photography and HD-Video projects. It combines a wide-angle zoom with a full f/2.8, Image Stabilization and two fluorite elements to produce sharp images in a convenient light-weight lens. It is available in mounts for Canon, Nikon, Sigma, Sony/Maxxum, and Pentax for $669.
