For over 100-years, Bergdorf Goodman has set the standard for luxury in New York City. This icon features designs by Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Halston, Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs, Micheal Kors, Alexander McQueen, Prada, Tom Ford, and Versace, to name a few. Maybe that’s why is has been featured in movies from That Touch of Mink to Sex and the City 2.
Every Christmas season, Bergdorf Goodman redefines the boundaries of “holiday window displays”. (They are usually my favorite displays.) This year’s theme is “Carnival of the Animals” where each window features a different theme material and location. The level of intricacy is simply amazing. Every square foot has something unique and unexpected. These windows are modern masterpieces worthy of display at MoMA.
If you have time this holiday season, you make your way to 58th St & Fifth Ave to see these windows in person. Bergdorf Goodman is worth the trip.
