The new Sigma 18–35mm f/1.8 DC HSM performed incredibly well on this rainy, overcast night. The photos are sharp with great contrast and clarity. Just take a look at the mesh net holding the balloons in place. In person, you could barely see the mesh unless you were standing fairly close. If you are thinking about a prime in the 18mm to 35mm range, you should definitely consider the Sigma Sigma 18–35mm f/1.8 DC HSM.
