Another holiday in New York City, another rainy night. This time, it was the Balloon Inflation for Macy’s 87th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade 2013. Such an overcast and dim night proved to be the perfect playground for Sigma’s new 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM. Thanks to this lens, it is the first year that I did not need a flash to make the subjects pop. The Canon 70D and this new lens make a great team. Take a look at these photos.
If you are thinking about a prime in the 18mm to 35mm range, you should definitely consider the Sigma Sigma 18–35mm f/1.8 DC HSM. It is as sharp as a prime, has the flexibility of a zoom, image stabilization AND a constant f/1.8 aperture! It is a very unique lens. No wonder it is in Sigma’s new “Art line”.
The Sigma 18–35mm f/1.8 DC HSM is available at B&H and Adorama.
