Macy’s finally came through!  Macy’s brought the Fourth of July Fireworks back to Brooklyn in a BIG WAY!

Four barges in the East River stretched from the Brooklyn Bridge to the Statue of Liberty.  And, they even shot fireworks off the Brooklyn Bridge!  Surprising, exciting and unique.  Such a huge improvement over the safe show from the past few years in Long Island City.  Some of the performances were even live from Pier 17 in the South Street Seaport.

I had the perfect viewpoint in Brooklyn Bridge Park.  Following my How To Photograph Fireworks 2019 Tips, I captured so many great moments with my Canon 7D Mark II.  Because I was so close, I switched lenses from my Canon 17-55mm EF-S lens to my Tokina 11-20mm f/2.8 to capture all fours barges. A bulb setting with an f/16 and ISO100 was the perfect combination.  Take a look.
