Panels, panels and more panels! One of the best things about New York Comic Con is the chance to see the stars of your favorite TV shows and movies in person. Yes, you can pay for a photo op or an autograph signing, but the panels are real experiences that last more than 30-seconds. The best panels are when the stars enjoy experience as much as the fans.
Sunday is considered Family Day at NYCC 2019. Warner Brothers/CW always has a good schedule. I sat through panels on Riverdale, Manifest (on NBC but still a Warner production), Roswell, New Mexico, Batwoman, Harley Quinn and Charmed. We watched the world premieres of Batwoman, Harley Quinn & Charmed. All shows except Harley had the cast present to talk about the show and even answer fan questions.
I did have an issue. Security at the Hulu Theater made me check my Canon 7D Mark II. Maybe, it was the fact that I bought a big lens (Canon 100-400mm L) that pushed the point. Thankfully, I had my little Sony RX100 VI as a back-up. All of the photos were taken with my little “harmless” Sony – the perfect camera to sneak in anywhere!
