NYC Christmas 2019 – Rockefeller Center

Share and Enjoy !

The Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center is a tradition stretching over 80 years.  During the Holiday Season, it can seem like everyone in Manhattan is standing in this one space either looking at the Tree or watching the Saks Light Show.  It is festive, crowded and definitely New York City.

If you can’t make it to NYC this Holiday, share these photos.

All photos take with the Canon 7D Mark II & Canon 17-55mm EF-S lens.

  1. Hello! I just wanted to say how much I love my 7DII. I’ve been a loyal Nikon consumer for 10 years and actually quit doing photography for a 5 year gap. I decided I’d give another round in photography and go with a used Canon 7Dll (I was very skeptical being I was acclimated to Nikon). At first I was very disappointed with what Canon offered for “our of the box lenses” compared to my large collection of Nikon lenses and not really focusing on the camera itself. Started buying and trading up lenses til I found some that suit what I was interested in. I immediately fell in love with the capabilities this Camera has and how user friendly it is and especially the AV Mode setting while still able to adjust other settings at ease. I’ve used this Camera with a tele-1.8 Sigma art lens and even the 17-55mm F/2.8 Canon lens and found the Bokeh quality astounding! Yes, my Old Nikon was capable of doing the same but not with simplicity this Canon had for a Novice like myself.
I have no interest moving up to a full frame for I enjoy the ability of the tele-photo length on my Canon L series 2.8 without having to upgrade to even a bigger lens to get the equal distance on a full frame. Plus, I finally found my dream camera with it’s user friendly simplicity and features that I desire. Needless to say I have no intention moving up for a while. I thank you for your articles and really found your opinion very useful!
